How To Ban IP Subnets in Ventrilo

After running into a problem with a person hopping on and off different ips and then spamming our ventrilo server with stupid crap I researched how to do this. It took way too long for me to find a concise resource that just explains it so I'm making one!

Lets say you want to ban everyone connecting from the ip 123.123.*.*

Goto Server - rcon

put in banadd 123.123.0.0/16 reason to ban the whole subnet.

Its not banadd 123.123.*.* as it should be.
