I'm wondering your opinion on this particular ability. There are a few players that use it alot. Seems to tick off a lot of other players when it is used.
I listened to one player say that if/when he gets admin, he plans on banning anyone that uses it for 90 minutes.
When it is used, it seems to chase some players away from the server because, in most cases, the invisable player combines it with the ability to jump on usually unreachable locations and sit in hiding and attack or get away as need.
There is nothing in the rules saying you can't use it, but some are saying that it rates up there with "phoenix".

Speaking of invisibility....

I was on yesterday and played human during Aztec, I was sitting in a few uncommon places and had my teammates check to see if I was invisible and out of nowhere bang, headshot, no matter where I was someone always killed me. I got the excuse that I wasn't invisible or I moved, which was BS. Hackers, most likely. But I've come across this before on different servers where invis. doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any insight on this? Thx

You did this on the UWC3 server?

Thats how I catch hackers on the UWC3 server. I go full invis, get amulet + cloak and jump around. Most of the time I catch at least one person botting that way. I reconnect and sure enough, normally those people still have their screens shaking.

ok guys if u have invisibility above 9 plus cloak ur totally visable to let u know if u have it at level 9 and a cloak ur totally invis just able to be seen from the shadow at ur feet i rarely ever play on that server except when im doing exp giveaways.. junkyard if they are totally invis and just useing a , . / ' * shit like that for their name give them a warning to change their names if they dont ban them for an hour or ask them to make their name 3 characters or more.....

u dont have to see them{humans} in my case when i "SCAN" walls i cant c a human or cloaked person,when i c a name pop up i shoot.ur name pops up when cross hairs r on u so thats probably why u get murked so much{killed} think outside the box hide places where u urself dont look.

ppla acuse me of hacking sometimes when i killem and theyre hiding......but any seasoned cs wc3 player know most hiding spots and prefire into em so dont get mad when ur face gets ripped by some1 who plays dere alot.

I have a Q? I've been told that if your human, cloak does nothing to increase your invisibility, is that tru?

no cloak does a lot!

so if ur a human and have it lvl 3 and you buy clock it makes u allmost invis right.

invis was obviously put into the UWC3 mod for a reason... i love running around knifeing people

a way to get around it is with thorns so when they attack you, you do the same DMG back to em and kill them too

the one thing i notice is theres like 30 skills and the only ones ppl rly get is invis and vamp, excluding the higher level ones like evade. i think some skills like syphon ammo could be better for instance syphon a round of the current clip, and resistance shouldnt completey remove all buffs, like with the serpant ward you with full resist you should make it look like theyre takin dmg when walked through, that plus decoy waould make an excellent ambush technique.


i just registerd and ive already blown up the forums with some ideas. and i still got tons more.

That's all fine if you want to recode the uwc3 mod for us. We'd be happy to test your modifications. If they're playable, bug free, and balanced, then you probably have a winner.

I think invis and vamp are both ultra-lame and I refuse to use both but I'm certainly the exception rather than the norm. UwC3, for the most part, is balanced pretty well. There's a few combinations that are hard to come up with a counter to but it's still doable if you got all the right tools.

An experienced invis player is borderline unkillable, granted he's high enough level to get the essential skills.

Invis can be fun, but it can kill the server pretty quick since new players are pretty much defenseless and get fed up.

If it wasn't for the one shot kill backstabs, I'd say invis would be a lot more balanced then it is now.

My opinion, full invis is gay and should be removed.

it's actually really easy to kill someone who is full invis.... just watch the ground for moving, dark circles...

EDIT: I had to level with people going full invis half of the time... if i could level, so can you

it's not even hard to lvl, just heal,repair,and dispell like crazy and save your money for tomes

Also, In most cases. People camp, so your not looking for the feet/ shadows.

If you have a level 36 or above player. Give them Mask, and see how "easy" they die..... ""NOT""!!!!!!!!

Only, way is if you double team him....

50% of the times, I just leave. I hate the campers.... Just not my style of game play. But, there is no rules against it.
